As news broke out that Circuit Breaker is being extended till 1 st June, Civilians Association (Singapore) CAS and Singapore Silent Heroes SSH volunteered to support those who are in need immediately with reusable and washable cloth masks.

500 checkered masks in 5 different colours were purchased and eye- catching posts were circulated on our social media announcing our offer. Within 2 days all the masks were taken up and we feel very happy that we were able to play a small part in a very short quick time.

Some of the organisations that we were able to assist with are:
1) Kidney Dialysis Foundation, KDF
2) St. Vincent Home at Buangkok Crescent
3) Bukit Batok Home for the Aged.
4) Mdm Katijah and community friends -Bukit Batok
5) Front Line Security
There are others who do not wish to be named.

CAS and SSH takes pride in contributing in our own meaningful way. “I feel very privileged and blessed to head this project” said by Mike Segaran – 1st Vice President of CAS.
